The internship is a comedy about two close friends who are both salesmen. They’re torpedoed out of their jobs due to the advance in technology. They decide to go to California after being left jobless and try for an internship at google. They are made to work with young people who are techno geniuses to try and complete the course.
It is a light-hearted comedy about finding yourself I guess. Billy (Vince Vaughn) and Nick (Owen Wilson) inspire each other with their characteristic ways, they have a brother-like friendship. They inspire the younger generation but the teenagers they work with also do the same. At the beginning they all have opposing ideas and when put into a group to complete tasks they can’t co-operate. Its like the old vs the young. Yet after a while when they get to know each other and work to each others strengths they battle through all sorts.
It was a very funny and uplifting movie to watch whilst having been revising all holiday!
